Mission Statement

To honor and celebrate the lives of Nebraska EMS personnel who have passed away.

NEMSA Memorial Guidelines

In order to recognize the loss of NEMSA members and their families, the NEMSA Board, along with the memorial committee, has approved the following memorial guidelines:

A $10 memorial and card will be sent to the family of a departed NEMSA member.
A card will be sent for a death in a NEMSA member's immediate family.
In line of duty death, regardless of membership in NEMSA, a $50 memorial and card will be sent to the surviving family, a NEMSA representative will attend the memorial service, if possible.

If you or your service knows of any such loss, please contact Karolyn McElroy and provide address.

Candlelight Ceremony

NEMSA will hold a candlelight memorial service during the January and March Conferences. A memorial candle will be lit to recognize and honor our fallen EMS brothers and sisters. You may submit names at the Winter, Spring and Summer conferences. The names will be added to our Memorial Wall which will be on display at these conferences.
